deliver exciting programs of workforce development. These programs
assist individuals to learn new skills, meet other people, improve
confidence and to find out about local services.

Workforce Development
In 2003, a mapping report identified there was a business and
management skills shortage in the sector (e.g. Entrepreneurship,
Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Quality Assurance,
Occupational Health and Safety, Legislation, Risk Management).
Since 2005, CANH has been involved in up-skilling the management
skills of the paid and unpaid workers in community centres and
neighbourhood houses to improve sustainability of the community
sector and develop its capacity-building potential.
In partnership with TAFE SA Regional as the RTO [40161], there
are 4 courses currently offered as part of the workforce
development strategy.
- Certificate IV in Volunteer Program Coordination CHC42708
- Diploma of Community Services Coordination CHC52208
- Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management CHC60308
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40104
