Health & Well-being
Projects and activities that focus on the health
and well-being of individuals and communities, are a priority of
CANH and its member centres and houses.
Anti Poverty Week
17 - 23 October 2010
Being a part of Anti-Poverty Week is an excellent opportunity
to take a lead in your local community, form partnerships with
health and raise your centre's public profile.
SA Health, Health Promotion Branch is providing funding through
CANH to support activities for Anti-Poverty Week, 17 - 23 October
2010.
The aim is for Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres to
improve the health and wellbeing of all South Australians by
strengthening public understanding of the causes and consequences
of poverty and hardship. This year houses and centres will be
encouraged to deliver activities that have a particular focus on
food and nutrition.
Applications have closed for 2010
